Cold Insulation – Polyurethane Injection

Cold Insulation – Polyurethane Injection

Polyurethane insulation is made by injection method on pipe, equipment and tank surfaces with an operating temperature range of -45 °C to + 90 °C to prevent external energy transfer. Polyurethane, which is injected in liquid form with the help of a machine between the outer coating sheet and the surface to be insulated, expands and solidifies in a short time and maintains its form. The full adhesion of the polyurethane to the surface also prevents corrosion that may occur by cutting the contact of the surface with the outdoor air.

In order to minimize labor and material costs, the optimum insulation thickness is determined by detailed engineering calculations and then the application is started.
