Glass Foam Insulation – Cellular Glass

Glass Foam, more commonly known as Cellular Glass, is the most ideal method applied in the insulation of lines requiring cold insulation of Petrochemical, Chemical, Oxygen, LNG facilities operating at -200 °C to + 400 °C. Foam Glass is the most well-known manufacturer of Cellular Glass.

It consists of two parts produced in all diameters and standard insulation thicknesses in pipe insulation applications and plates in surface applications.

The glass foam is mounted on the pipe or surface using special materials and adhesives. Vapor barrier is provided by covering the mounted glass foam with special mastics and auxiliary materials.

In order to protect the insulation material against negative factors from the external environment, the insulation is finished by applying the outer coating material.
